Miele Company Limited, Workways Office Suites, Block 5, High Street, Tallaght, Dublin 24, D24 YK8N, Ireland ("we") may grant the buyer ("you") - in addition to, and separately from, any legal consumer rights you may be entitled to against the seller (which you can claim free of charge) – an extended warranty in accordance with the following terms:
1. Our 2-year Manufacturer’s Guarantee and the Extended Warranty
1.1 From the date of purchase, a standard 2-year Manufacturer’s Guarantee applies to all domestic appliances (the "Manufacturer's Guarantee").
1.2 From time to time, we may run a promotion to extend the 2-year Manufacturer's Guarantee free of charge. When such a promotion applies and provided you are eligible, a further one, three or eight year warranty may be granted by us to you under the terms outlined in this document (the "Extended Warranty"). The validity period is shown on the front of the policy document.
1.3 You will be eligible for the Extended Warranty if you have purchased a specific appliance(s) in the Republic of Ireland, or Northern Ireland to which the promotion applies during the limited promotional period. However, in order to register, the appliances must be installed in a location within the Republic of Ireland. Northern Irish customers must visit miele.co.uk/promotions to register the appliance, which contains full terms and conditions and valid models.
2. Promotions
2.1 If we are running a promotion for the Extended Warranty and you would like to participate in it, you must register the warranty within the deadline specified in the promotional terms & conditions.
2.2 To apply for the Extended Warranty, you must use the online form at www.miele.ie/promotions. You will be requested to complete your details and upload a copy of your proof of purchase.
2.3 On receipt of your proof of purchase, we will check the details you have provided, including that your product is eligible for the Extended Warranty, as shown at www.miele.ie/promotions and that it has been purchased within the promotional period. You will then be issued with a Miele Service Certificate in your name via email. Please allow up to 60 days for your certificate to arrive before contacting us. All certificates are issued digitally, and we do not offer printed certificates.
2.4 If you have claimed the Extended Warranty, you will be covered once you have received the ’promotion entered’ confirmation email and will only receive this as long as all qualifying criteria for the Extended Warranty are met. 3. Conditions – The Extended Warranty
3.1 The Extended Warranty:
1. applies only to products purchased from an authorised retailer or directly from Miele in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
2. does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out below and does not cover any costs arising from you not being able to use your appliance; and
3. is offered as an extra benefit and does not affect your legal consumer rights relating to the quality of any purchase or how it was described. For further information on your legal consumer rights, contact your local Citizens Information Service.
3.2 The Extended Warranty services covered by these terms will only be provided within the Republic of Ireland, Northern Irish customers should register appliances as per clause 1.3.
3.3 These Extended Warranty terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. However, if you live in Northern Ireland, these terms will not limit any consumer protection rights you are entitled to under the mandatory laws applicable there. Any claim related to or arising from these Terms may be brought in the courts of the Republic of Ireland. If you live in Northern Ireland, you may bring your claim in either the Northern Irish courts or the courts of the Republic of Ireland. Proof of purchase is required to apply for the Extended Warranty.
4. Services
4.1 In addition to correcting defects in material or workmanship during the Term (see section 5 below) and subject to the exclusions set out in section 6 below, we agree to bear the complete repair cost, including parts and labour.
4.2 When an appliance is considered "beyond economical repair," Miele reserves the right to decide what to do next. We can either:
Provide a New Appliance: Offer a new appliance that has similar features and specifications to the one that is beyond repair.
Contribute to a New Miele Appliance: Alternatively, offer to pay part of the cost for you to buy a new Miele appliance.
This decision is made solely by Miele, meaning we have the final say on which option to choose.
4.3 Any parts removed from an appliance during a repair become our property.
4.4 Visit our website by clicking here(Repair (miele.ie) if you wish to book a repair under your standard 2-year Manufacturer's Guarantee or additional 3-year or 8-year Extended Warranty.
5. Duration
5.1 The Extended Warranty takes effect immediately after the Manufacturer’s Guarantee expires and is valid for a term of three years (the "Term").
5.2 The Extended Warranty is valid for one specific Miele machine in each case and is non-transferable to a new machine, inclusive of if the appliance is returned within a money-back guarantee promotion.
6. Exclusions
6.1 Appliances sold in contract developments, auctions, or rental agreements are excluded from the Extended Warranty.
6.2 We will not bear costs for repairs where appliance breakdown is due to the following:
Non-compliance with safety regulations and warnings given in the operating instructions.
Faults caused by the user through operating errors or lack of care and maintenance, including the use of unsuitable detergents or chemicals as well as damage caused by the intake of fluids, construction dust or toner.
Non-domestic, inappropriate and/or commercial use.
Use that extends 1,000 hours for vacuum cleaners or 10,000 operating hours for other appliances.
Intentional or accidental damage by the owner or third parties.
Incorrect installation.
Faulty repairs or repairs carried out by parties other than us or an authorised agent of ours.
External influences (e.g., weather, transit damage).
Replacement parts subject to wear and tear (e.g., filters), or parts which should be maintained and cleaned by you as indicated in the operating instructions (e.g., filters, washing machine door seals or the Hybrid Vacuum Cleaner battery).
Usage-related and natural wear and tear, such as the decreasing load performance of accumulators and components that, according to the operating instructions, must be replaced regularly during the product life cycle.
Glass breakage and defective light bulbs.
Visual blemishes such as marks and dents.
Use of non-approved spare parts and accessories, care products, dust bags or spare parts.
Any refurbished, ex-display or Non-A grade appliances
We will only bear repair costs carried out by our network of service technicians or an authorised agent. If, during a service visit, no fault can be found for which we are responsible under these terms, you will be invoiced with call-out charges and labour costs of 60 minutes in accordance with our current standard rates.
Professional machines and equipment (incl. Little Giants and ProfLine dishwashers) are not eligible for this offer.
7. Liability
7.1 We shall not be liable for loss of goods, loss of use, losses arising from you being unable to use your appliance or any special, indirect, consequential, or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges, or expenses.
7.2 Nothing in these terms will exclude any liability which we are not allowed to exclude by law, such as death or personal injury resulting from negligence on our part or for any damage incurred because of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by us.
8. Cancellation
8.1 You may cancel your Extended Warranty at any time by giving notice in writing to Miele Company Limited, Workways Office Suites, Block 5, High Street, Tallaght, Dublin 24, D24 YK8N, Ireland
8.2 We reserve the right to cancel the Extended Warranty in the event of physical or verbal abuse towards any member of staff employed directly or indirectly by Miele Company Limited.

Miele – Extended Warranty – Duoflex
Promotion Dates: 02/02/26-30/04/26. Claims must be within 30 days of purchase.

Terms & Conditions:
The following terms of contract apply for the Extended Warranty, notwithstanding statutory rights in the case of defects and without restricting the same. Asserting these statutory rights is free of charge.
1. Duration and start of cover
1.1 Miele Ireland grants a 2-year guarantee from the date of purchase of the unit. With the Extended Warranty, Miele Ireland covers the cost of repairs for further one, three or eight years immediately after the guarantee period. The validity period is shown on the front of the policy document.
1.2 The policy document will be provided by e-mail.
1.3 Repair of the machine or the provision of spare parts does not extend the period of the contract.
2. Conditions
2.1 The machine has been purchased from an authorised specialist retailer or directly from Miele in an EU country, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Switzerland or Norway.
2.2 At time of purchase of the Extended Warranty, location of the unit is within Republic of Ireland.
2.3 The policy document is only valid for one specific Miele machine in each case and is non-transferable, inclusive of if the appliance is returned within a money-back guarantee promotion.
2.4 If the ownership of the machine changes or if the owner moves to a different address, Miele must be informed so that the policy document remains valid.
2.5 The policy document must be registered and taken out within the deadline specified in the promotional terms & conditions.
2.6 The services within the framework of the Extended Warranty will only be provided within the EU, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Switzerland and Norway.
2.7 Services within the scope of the Extended Warranty may only be performed by Miele Customer Service or a service agent authorised by Miele Ireland. Miele Customer Service can be contacted via miele.ie/service.
2.8 If requested by Miele, the purchase receipt and the policy document are to be shown.
2.9 If the customer is not entitled to a claim under the Extended Warranty, the costs of repairs and other services rendered (e.g. inspection of the device) will be invoiced according to the applicable rates.
2.10 A unit with policy document is for non-commercial use only.
2.11 The Extended Warranty is not available for coffee makers, ProfiLine dishwashers, Little Giants and Miele Professional appliances. Special service offers apply for these devices.
3. Cover and range
3.1 Machine defects will be remedied free-of-charge within a reasonable period through either repair or the replacement of the affected parts. All travel costs, call-out charges, labour and spares costs will be assumed by Miele Ireland. Exchange parts or appliances become the property of Miele Ireland.
3.2 If the machine is beyond economic repair or if repair is impossible, the customer will be provided with an identical or equivalent new machine. With a replacement machine, communication (connectivity) with other machines and the existing domestic system cannot be guaranteed. Alternatively, if requested, the appropriate current market value of the machine may be reimbursed. If the current market value of the appliance is reimbursed by Miele, the policy document becomes invalid. If the machine is replaced, the remaining period of cover provided by the policy document is transferred to the new unit.
3.3 The Extended Warranty does not cover any further claims for damage against Miele Ireland, except in cases resulting from gross or willful negligence on the part of the technical service agent commissioned by Miele Ireland or liability resulting from fatal injury, physical injury or damage to health.
3.4 The provision of consumables and accessories is not covered by this agreement.
4. Limitations
The Extended Warranty will not cover costs for repairs where a fault is due to the following:
4.1 Improper installation, e.g. non-compliance with relevant safety regulations and written operating and installation instructions.
4.2 Improper use and operation, such as the use of unsuitable detergents or chemicals as well as damage caused by the intake of fluids, construction dust or toner.
4.3 A machine purchased in another EU member state, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Switzerland or Norway may not be suitable for use or may be subject to restrictions on use on account of different technical specifications.
4.4 External factors such as damage caused through transportation, impact and jolting, inclement environmental conditions or natural phenomena.
4.5 Repairs or modifications not performed by service agents trained and authorised by Miele.
4.6 Damage to non-standard accessories and the failure to use genuine Miele spare parts or accessories authorised by Miele.
4.7 Glass breakage and defective lamps.
4.8 Fluctuations in power supply conditions, which exceed the tolerances stated by the manufacturer.
4.9 Failure to perform cleaning and care work in compliance with the operating instructions.
4.10 Usage-related and natural wear and tear, such as the decreasing load performance of accumulators and components that, according to the operating instructions, must be replaced regularly during the product life cycle.

6. Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (sales subsidiary country, geographical address, telephone number and e-mail address) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount, which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
